What technology does the device use to sterilize the air?
VIROBUSTER equipment uses innovative UVPE technology to clean the air. This patented technology uses concentrated UVC light to process indoor air in a closed system. Through specially designed reflectors, UVPE technology can significantly increase the intensity of ultraviolet radiation, and quickly and effectively eliminate viruses.
Compared to traditional UV-C technology, the power increase of UVPE technology over the three logarithmic units commonly used UV-C technology is about 1,000 times, which makes it a "next generation air disinfection" solution. This enhanced radiation is able to damage the DNA/RNA of microorganisms such as viruses and bacteria, preventing their reproduction and thus effectively blocking their transmission route.

What is the difference between air disinfection and air purification?
Traditional air purification is based on filters filtering and collecting fine particles in the air, only filtering does not kill. Air disinfection kills viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms so that they do not infect humans.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of UVC air disinfection and HEPA air purifier also called air filter?
The advantage of filtration technologies is that they filter out dust and other particles from the air. The finer the particle, the less effective the filter will be. The denser the filter, the lower the speed of air passing through the device. In addition, filters must be replaced regularly at relatively short intervals. Because the filter contains concentrated infectious viruses, the filtration technology does not completely solve the problem of elimination. UVC irradiation specifically targets organisms in the air and can completely eliminate microorganisms in the air, so dust and odor are not the main removal objects of UCV. Of course, the VIROBUSTER equipment does not produce turbulent air flow, the sterilized air is blown out at high speed, hits the ceiling and sinks, and the polluted air is slowly sucked into the disinfection equipment to kill again.
Are there performance differences between different systems on the market?
The two most important performance characteristics against airborne microbes such as coronavirus-are the proportion of viruses that are filtered or inactivated, and the amount of air that can be purified in a given time. VIROBUSTER's devices achieve maximum value in both functions, significantly exceeding traditional filtration technologies.
Which technique is best for preventing corona?
With a traditional air purifier with a HEPA or other filter, the virus gets stuck in the filter web - and then the filter can only be replaced with a full protective suit. UVC can not only collect viruses, but also destroy viruses. At the same time, this technology can purify more air, so the room can be thoroughly disinfected faster. In addition, the filtration system must run continuously to avoid contaminating the room, while the system with UVC lights can be turned on or off as needed.
Can UVC air disinfection also regulate indoor CO2 levels?
UVC disinfection did not affect CO2 content. Ventilation is still needed for this. After ventilation, however, oxygen is better distributed, so CO2 levels rise again much more slowly.
Is there any evidence that this technique works?

How loud is the device?

It is controlled by a simple controller. You can continuously choose the amount of air you need - 150 to 450 cubic meters of air per hour. Usually, the air volume of the room is set once and then not changed again.
Does the device have to be on at all times?
One advantage of UVC technology is that it only needs to be turned on when necessary. In order to ensure the cleanliness of the room, generally turn on the device in advance (about 15-30 minutes), so as to ensure that there is no virus in the room as much as possible.
Is it allowed to open the Windows in the room while the device is running?
When the device is running, you can open or close the window as required. In fact, the airflow of ventilation can dilute the indoor air and also help regulate the carbon dioxide content in the room.
Where is the device manufactured?
All of the VIROBUSTER equipment is manufactured in Germany, and the mobile, stand-alone equipment is produced only at the Windhagen plant in Rhineland-Palatinate. This is the only way we can guarantee the quality of our equipment.
Does the device show any required maintenance?
The VIROBUSTER device has an LED light that indicates the operating status of the device and prompts for maintenance. When the maximum number of working hours is reached, the red LED lights up and sounds a warning tone.

Is air treated with UVC light harmful to health?
UVPE technology is very environmentally friendly, does not contain ozone or other chemicals, and does not ionize the air. This is why the purified air is not harmful to the environment and health.
Is UVC light dangerous?
Unprotected exposure to UVC light is dangerous to the eyes and skin. That's why VIROBUSTER relies on a security technology where UVC is only used in closed systems. This inspection is part of TUV certification.
Will my immune system be weakened if I only stay in a sterile environment?
Nooooo. The body's immune system is primarily boosted by dietary vitamins and fiber, and although infection is also a factor, it is not the main one.
Can the manufacturer prove the safety of the device?
All VIROBUSTER devices are TUV tested and CE compliant.
